They also provide primary healthcare to 6 million people at a fraction of the cost of doctors and nurses. A randomized control trial of Living Goods’-led community health programs in Uganda showed a 27% reduction in under-five mortality and a 7% reduction in stunting, for a cost of less than US $2 per person annually.
